Drawings on a train :)

I have started a group on facebook all about drawing on trains.

I have a slightly awkward journey to and from work everyday on the train and decided to start drawing people...

Its a relatively short journey sometimes so I rush to get something down and sometimes capture some interesting features of the person although the results aren't technically brilliant I find it fun to look back at how I translated someones appearance to the page without being able to think much about proportions, light, perspective or anything I would consider in a life class sitting.

Thought i'd try and post some catch up images since i've been struggling to get spare time at the moment, working for an advertising company doing various things designing illustrating film editing creating blah blah blah....internship at the moment though :/

One of those days when nothing was working in my eyes, so came up with a few different versions of the colour scheme yet I think I prefer the basic black print of it....let me know what you think?? Hopefully this will end up as a big print on a woman's casual dress...and maybe on a blokes Tshirt....hmmm i wonder.

Practice and in production....

Working on my style for a commission of a Marilyn Monroe portrait, and also practicing using the musician Homecut as a subject, well he did wear our Tee at his gig at Vibe Bar earlier in the year so its only fair to give him a bit of promotion. Please check out my T-shirts available here!!! They are high quality American Apparel T-shirts with the design printed on the front and the logo printed on the back of the neck. Very nice :)

Please let me know what you think of the designs, and the colours...would you prefer to see some different colour combination's of these designs? How do you feel about wearing white Tees some people are quite against it apparently! What colour shirts are you drawn towards personally?? Let me know ALL feedback is greatly appreciated! :)

Mister Giles....nearly there!!!

So I haven't posted on here for a little while now, but its because i've been working my ass off in my day job and then doing the same again in the evenings to try and get the launch of this ready....My very own designs finally getting printed and sold!! Setting up the necessary websites, printers etc..blah blah, anyway its DONE!

The Tee's will be on sale next Sunday 6th June at Brick Lane market!!
